Pick Your Posion Which Do you Prefer AND Why! Circ [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4rV65awFks"]YouTube - video-2010-03-07-22-43-36.3gp[/ame] Inline [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5b6K6nkC7M"]YouTube - video-2010-03-07-22-02-55.3gp[/ame]
I Will Agree With The Filter part The Hops Functions Like no Other Always End Up With Yellow Water in The Hops Where As The Circ Stays fairly Clear which leads me to believe that more impurities are being filtered in the hops over circ?
That's really, really interesting. Do you mean in the ACs or in the tube itself? My guess is that the inline uses a lower total volume of water, so the impurities are just more concentrated in the inline, but that's just a guess. Would you mind measuring the volumes?
the inline definitely uses less water. and unless your inline is gridded the circ will probably always win in the diffusion battle.
Circ(whatever you wanna call it). I dig that one more, looks like it milks quicker and gives a nice healthy hit haha. Both are really rad though, close competition lol. Nice glass too dude! I'm not as down with the whole "most filtration" aspect. As long as a tube hits smooth it's all you need.
Yes this is true, sorry I should clarify. When I say most filtration I mean like when people strive for maximum or a lot more filtration then needed. Like a diffy into an A/C, into another diffy, into a peculated tube. After a while the filtration is kinda overkill. But that's just my opinion, I feel like most nice quality tubes are good just with a diffy or an A/C.
Filtration takes away a little from the taste, because more terpenes (which vaporize at a low temperature) condensate through the cooling.
after i got my hedman circ a/c i rarely used my lw inline a/c. a good circ seems to hit smoother. taste is about even in my experience.
haha thats exactly the setup i use 75% of the time. i don't know if its really over kill. i notice i can milk the whole bong with the A/C on, but i cant without it. so maybe its not really overkill cause it seems to work better, at least for me
I prefer Circs because you get the same airflow, and the same filtration as an inline, but less glass is used to make it.
I think inlines look sooo sick, not to mention the look actually serves a purpose. So I say inlines hands down.
In all honesty, unless you were comparing a specific inline and a specific circ, the answers will be all over the place. There are too many variations such as # of slits, gridded/not, size, etc.. But generally, I think circs would be better. They usually have better flow. Inlines can have a lot of issues if they aren't made correctly since the air has to pass under several slits before it can reach its full potential. If the slits are off, the piece doesn't function as well.
