Im finishing up a grow this week and will have room to redue my flower room.
wondering if anyone in here has there inline fan hanging from the ceiling with a bungee cord to get rid of vibration. When my fan is on, its mounted on the wall, the whole house vibrates.
was told to hang the fan with bungee cord.

I think this will help on the noise. I was wondering if I do hang it. Should i hook it directly to the hood, or make some duct slack. I bet to the hood would give better flow, but im wondering if it would vibrate something??

    thanx

  2. Duct slack and bungee cord. Problem solved.

A fan speed adjuster also helps iron out vibrations.

    Keep us posted

  3. I have a 365 cfm fan hanging from the ceiling by par-cord. (parachute cord) It works awesome for cutting down on noise. I too used to have my fan mounted on the wall. It was loud as hell. Hanging it is def. the way to go.:smoke:
