  1. Currently running into a problem/safety issue.
Quick description- The room is a 12x7 greenhouse. I installed a misting system that creates quite a bit of moisture. I was experimenting with time and pressure for the misters while having the 8 inch running. I noticed it sucked a little bit of mist into the housing some droplets formed. I quickly turned the fan off and much to my surprise when i touched the metal ducting I was mildly shocked. the fan is a vivosun. Will this safe to use if i move the misters? Are there any precautions I should take?
    Thanks for your time Nikki

  2. First thought is: Why do you feel the need to mist so much that it condenses on the fan? You're going to need to be working to lower the RH by the time flower season comes to your room. By the sounds of it you're making your room way too humid, which will invite other problems (disease, pests, etc).

Secondly, if I were in your shoes I'd let the fan dry out completely then let it run for a long period in a safe location to see if it has any problems.

  3. Okay I'll I like your advice on letting it dry out but Im in southern cali temps are passing 100 and outside humidity is below 20%. I thought 50-70 % is good for veg could i get away with just exhaust to control the temps. I measured the temp inside the room it was close to 115.

  4. Those temps are a huge problem, put your energy toward lowering temps (AC or something). The plants can handle lower humidity just fine.
