So I'm making a switch to a 400 watt grow light with an cool tube reflector. I don't plan on having a carbon filter JUST yet and I have a 4inch ventech inline fan booster laying around. Would this be sufficient at 100 cfm to pull the heat from the bulb? I'll upgrade to a proper inline fan once I have my filter. I'm thinking the heat from the light will double as heat for my apartment, too =P Damn old houses don't keep their heat for shit!
Should work to cool the bulb for now without carbon filter http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1335301-Stanky's-perpetual-garden
I've bought a booster fan once. was a piece of shit it didn't do anything noticeable. I'd just get an inline fan you can get a 6" fan for like 80 bucks that will last for years. or you could get a combo fan & filter for like 120-150 bucks with everything you need
He dident buy it he had it laying around. Should work for now tho. He will just have to try http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1335301-Stanky's-perpetual-garden
