Hey everyone! I'm running 2400W just in lighting, should I be worried about my infrared signature and/or electric bill? Also, what can I do to reduce my footprint? Thank you!
Don't know where you are from but they aren't allowed to just IR random houses. 2400w really isn't that much. Are you well insulated? You could get solar panels to help offset some of the cost and your meter would spin backwards.
definitely go with some solar panels, you can find them fairly cheap and do a great job of not only offsetting the cost but also will make you feel good about your home and what its doing for the environment, who knows the neighbors might decide to do it too!
That'd be pretty awesome! A fully sufficient house. I know the efficiency ranges, but how much power does a solar panel absorb?
