So I was thinking….infinity…everything that can happen….has to, right? Simply because it can…for example, I could take this laptop and chuck it across the room right now. Or I could gently place it on the couch. Or I could tape it to the wall. I could put it in the freezer on the top shelf 2cm from the back. Or 2cm from the front. Or the bottom shelf 1.65cm from the left. I could up and drive to Chicago right now. Or, halfway to Chicago then back to Chicago. I could stand up and scream “HALTER TOPS” at the top of my lungs….I think you get the point. I could go on. I have no reason to do any of this, but the fact that I can is what’s trippin my balls right now. There is a distinctive non-zero probability that all those things could occur. The thing is….everyone has this many variables. Literally every single second there are countless variables that every human can decide to put forth into the universe. Every one of the 7.6 billion people on Earth have these endless opportunities to do pretty much whatever they want. Maybe it will affect your future in a grand or an ignoble way. However…you’re alway’s slipping into the future. Are we on the leading edge, or the apex of the sharp arrow of time? That’s to say…we can’t go back in time, only forward. But we can’t go too fast, because 2020 “hasn’t happened” (yet). We can only go *this* speed at a time….you know what speed it is, the one we all feel. Sort of more than every few seconds, but less than every few minutes. You know how you can seem to feel each minute, hour pass by so noticeably slowly, but the years, eventually decades, speed past you never to be seen again. That past…that you can’t get to. The arrow of time. What’s behind the arrow is the past. But again…are we on the apex of time? Nothing before the arrow? Or is there a “before”… What do you think? Whats trippin your balls right now?
There is no present as in past, present, or future, everything is in the past or the future. Try saying any word in the present, you'll find you actually will say the word in the future. If you've ever said it before it was in the past, if you ever say it again it will be in the future. Even if you say the word very slowly, part of the word was said in the past and the rest of the word will be finished in the future.
All the yesterdays you ever experienced never happened and tomorrow will never come. What is today with respect to RIGHT NOW? Fuck I'm high.
