Is there anyway to induce a flowering stage early on an outdoor plant? before the light naturally gets to 12/12? such as plant in a shady spot put a cover on, etc. excluding indoor crop and autoflowering plants
HAve done this before with covering plants at the same time every day. Best results are achieved after the Summer Solstice as the light is reducing anyway, before this and the plant can get its vegetative back on and you end up with a stressed out plant.
This previous summer my friend had planted a seed around late August I believe. A month I believe it was later, the plant had balls hanging off it proving it was a male. I think this is due to the cues the plant got from mother nature telling the plant it was that time of the season and forced it to soon be flowering.
