Indoor veg. ?

    I have 15 seedlings in 8oz styrofoam cups vegging under cfl's (24/0) that I will plant outdoors in about 6 weeks. My question is - will the plants show their sex before they will need to be repotted? Thanks

    They won't show thier sex unitl you switch the lighting times, from 24/0 to 12/12. And you will need to transplant way before that. I suggest you go into a bigger pot around the 3-4 week of growing, any later and it may slow down the growing of the plant and cause root problems...

    I know you can force flower them to show and then go back to veg, but I'm pretty sure they will show preflowers during veg - I guess I'm just wondering what the average age is for that - Thanks

    what is the earliest you can force them to flower? Age/Size wise?

    I've heard you can flower right off the bat, but I think that might put too much stress on them- I've also heard at around 6-8" is good.

    Here's a couple of pics of plants that vegged for two weeks before I started 12/12. There not that big but I have twenty more just like it.

    what if a started the 12/12 on a plant that is 4-6" tall, just to try it out? I got 4 other small plants...
