Indoor under floro, 3rd prong ground wire problems

  1. So i just set up my light and am getting ready to sow my seeds indoor in order for them to be ready for planting on may 30th. My setup is great except for my new floro im using has a ground prong and the outlet im goin to be using only has 2 holes, its one of those light fixture converters, u screw it into a light socket and it has power outlets on it. Well anyway i have done a google and it says removing the ground makes a risk of electric shock. My setup is in a little storage area in my room, i live with my parents and i do not have permision to grow. I know bad idea but... so i realy dont want to run the extension cord out of the storage. So im leaning twoard removing the ground, is it worth the risk? does anyone have any advice or ideas? I have had 1 prior succesfull grow which i started indoors in the same fashion but with a different, smaller light. I am goin to b growing more seedlings this time so i upgraded to a bigger floro. I am planning on starting the seeds this weed but am not sure because i dont want them to outgrow my space before planting season. I have about 100 seeds that i am planning on starting, the floro i am using is like a 75 wat i think but im not sure, its a shop floro, has 2 tubes and its like 4 feet long. Can this light support around 50 plants started around march 15th and grown until around may 30th? also my grow space limits me to aroun 2 feet of space, will this be enough?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

  2. You might be able to go 6 plants with a 400 watt HPS, you can grow some seedlings for a little bit... but growth will be very slow, you need a better light

  3. Just get what they call a PIG, its an adapter, cost like $2, get them at any hardware store.
