Indoor to outdoor emergency

Discussion in 'The Great Indoors' started by need2beschooled, Mar 18, 2016.

  1. Ok so i have to leave out of town for a week. My indoor is super hush hush that not even the good man upstairs knows I'm growing. Soooo that being said i will not be able to care for my girls while I'm away. I fear for room temps. Water emergency the whole nine yards. So my question is.....will i do a lot of damage if i remove them from their 18/6 cycle indoor and put them outdoor for a week and then put them back inside when i get back? I'm in the central valley i guess that would be socal. If that helps any?

  2. If you are getting well over 12 hours of daylight each day, it shouldn't affect them as far as throwing them into flower. But when you take plants from a clean indoor environment and put them outside, your biggest risk is picking up bugs and such and bringing it back inside with the plant. What kind of guarantees do you have that putting them outside is the answer? I'm not sure I'd feel real comfortable about that either. If you do it, just be very smart about how you go about it. 3. I hadn't thought about that I'm so torn maybe if i construct a mini GreenHouse it wouldn't guarantee but at least protect them a little better? I'm so distraught but i have no other options. I don't want to stress them. But the room they're in can get out of control in Heat if I'm not there monitoring i have Been able to keep them at 75 to 80 degrees.
