Indoor SOG starting.

  1. If I was doing a Sea of Green indoors, what would be an ok size for pots? I have a bunch of these 3L (almost 1gal) jugs that I was hoping to use, however would they be to small? In the SOG the plant shouldn't be to big, but what is a good pot size?

Right now I have one 14" pot that I am going to do LST in.

  2. I'd say around 1 gal volume per 1 foot of plant height. 1 gallon is 3.75 L I'd say, so you'd really be pushing it with those pots. I had my babies in 2 L pots and they outgrew them very quickly. You should probably get some pots that are a little bigger, and flip your plants into flower when they're around a foot tall. You'd get a nice canopy that way. Remember that square pots have the most volume per area so they are perfect for sea of green applications.....
