Since my budget is very tight and I started late in the growing season I've oppted to veg. Under 24 hour light: 12 in the sun 12 under cheap CFL's . 3 (coiled) CFL's are only 15 watts at 2700k and the 4th is 25 watts at 3500k. Everything is placed in a2'×3'×18" reflective box with a box fan blowing indirectly. This may sound pathetic but at times my plants(6) grow 1/2 inch overnight. Come 8:00am I place them outside in the sun and some days the grow up to an inch1/2 so as you can see 24 hour light split between artificial and natural more than makes up for these low level lights. My plants are from feminized seeds(not cheap) 4 plants are majave OG Kush and other two are Dog Berry Skunk. Both from California. Oh, my growing medium is Mg. After harvest I'm reinvesting in a much better system. My plants look great very healthy I've topped and pruned the bottoms a little and nothing seems to stress them. Awesome genetics! I'll post pics.
