What's going on You can refer to me as OG. I'm a grower with some 10 grows under my belt & I'm starting another I'm new to Grass City and I want to start sharing my adventures with everyone and share my love for growing. So, I'll be posting News on my entire grow from Germination to Rolling a fat one up after harvest! Maybe some of my ideas can help some new guys out and I'm open to any suggestions as well! Here's some info on my next grow. I grow completely Organic! My own custom soil and even start my seeds in soil. I use CFL's both 2700k and 6500k (Soft White & Daylight) The amount is determined on the amount of plants and space. We will get into that later. NO STORE BOUGHT NUTRIENTS!! And Biodegradable Containers. No I'm not a tree hugger I'm a WEED lover and growing Organic is the best way to get the most out of your seeds. And the sense of mind in knowing what you are smoking. I have compared my last harvest of White Widow to Hydroponically grown White Widow and guess who's was the strongest THC content "ORGANIC" not only was the high better the taste was incomparable. Due to the Blueberry Vines and Watermelon Rine (Very Little Rine it's high in Acidity" Now back to the Grow at hand. *Soil Custom Self Composted I like to call it Green Thumb lmao Ingredients- Base Potting Soil (NO Nutrients) Apple Skins Perlite Worm Castings Peat Moss Cow Manure Lime (For PH) Sand Let Compost for 21/30 Days in a little plastic swimming pool (20 bucks at Wal-Mart) *Grow Room Closet 5x3 Overhead Lighting Six 43-watt 2700k/6500k mix on custom built wooden ballast painted Flat White Side Lighting Two 23-watt 2700k on each side wall mounted (I shocked the shit out of myself doing the electrical work for this high lmao) No exhaust only Wall Fan. Opening the door is plenty of fresh air. The closet is painted Flat White. Week 1 07/04/14 Planted seeds in Bio Seedling Containers (about as big as plastic cups) Soil for soil germination is the same as stated above. Except I just use Potting Soil Perlite and Moss It is day 2 still no babies have cracked the soil. I usually start to see them around day 5 or 6 I watered soon as I planted them with Distilled water until 10% drainage was shown and now I mist them 2x a day depending on soil moisture and of course I put them in my grow room under two 23-watt 2700k always use less light during germination if you use the soil method and return to full strength after the crack the soil and shed there last bit of shell.
