Hey GC, I need your help! I live in an apartment building, and was wondering what would be the best setup to grow one or two plants? Should I use hydroponics? Aeroponics? Is it even worth it?
well it sounds like this is your first venture in growing...I would suggest using soil for first few grows til you learn the basic "how too's" of growing. Not to say you cant learn using hydro, but the prob with hydro for new growers is they are not able to reconize problems fast enough. With hydro things go bad fast, soil you have more time to react...this is why I suggest soil for new growers. But as far as the best set up for an apt grow...I would look into CFL lights if your wanting to keep it cheaper, but if your wanting more growth and have more to spend I would look at a 400w switchable ballast. But thats getting ahead of myself, to get good suggestions we are going to need to know the size of your space, budget...ect. Do some reading on the stickies and you'll be ahead of the game. _Numb_
