I have 4 10,000k 65 watt lights http://www.fish.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=710201+065&srccode=FSHFRGLE I was thinking of using them and I was wondering if they would be suitable, and also I want to place 2-4 CFL's on the sides of the plants. Thoughts?
should be alright. Since those give off blue-white light you should throw in some red spectrum cfl's and you'd be set.
Or get blue spectrum for veg and red for flower, you could use both all the way through just as well. Ah shit I quoted instead of edited, and I was high enough to miss it. heh.
Ok, well I went out and bought 6 26w 1600 lumen 6500k CFLs. I only powered up 4 of them and they seemed pretty bright with the overhead fixture so im going to see how that works, hopefully have pics up in a few days.
