True. Im looking for a new dreampop/shoegaze band for the summer. Anyone have any suggestions?
Washed Out is n i c e
Thanks, ill check them out. Seeing Radiohead in about 2 weeks, so excited/nervous. They have been the soundtrack to my adolescence, hard to believe ill get to see them in person.
ah no shit, radiohead, where are you seeing them? I tried to get tickets to one in england but they sold out too quick. I was gutted. I know this guy who saw them at leeds festival a few year back, described seeing them as "whiney, depressing and shit". What a dick.
Seeing them near Detroit. I cant really describe how much of an impact their music has had on me. They arent depressing, theyre just the masters of melody and emotion evoking sound. It will surely be one of the best nights of my life.

Lol They're pretty overrated/overplayed anyway
Yeah each to their own, I'm not saying I judge people based on their opinions. The guy in question just happens to be the biggest phallus to have ever walked the earth and also dislikes radiohead.
Id recommend you guys check out these albums: Gemini by Wild Nothing and Ghosts of the great highway by Sun Kil Moon, both nice choices for long summer days. BTW, are there any Pavement fans here? Pavement fuckin rules! The National are great to listen to aswell.
^ i second that. sun kil moon are great. also check out the album 'pope killdragon' by strand of oaks if your into depressing/alcoholic indie folk that is.
anyone here dig two door cinema club?
Here. I've only started listening to them last month. They're pretty good.
