Currently I am completely obsessed with "indie" kind of music. I have been listening to "Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes", "Modest Mouse", "Foster the People", "Wolf Parade", and a bunch of others. Anyone who doesn't know any of these bands I strongly suggest looking them up. Also anyone know of any other good bands that sound like these guys ^^?
Check out Built To Spill, Pavement, Pixies, and Deerhunter. I like a lot of the bands you listed and will check out the ones I don't know .

Lyrics don't mean as much and leave a bit more to interpretation. They use a lot of layering in their sound which is great just getting lost listening to the different parts.
