indica VS. sativa : who can explain the diffrence?

    OK so Ive been smoking weed for a pretty long time, and i notice like most people probably do, that diffrent types of weed give you diffrent effects. some weed is a pure body high, with no head high at all, some weed just fucks you up in the head, some weed makes you think of cool universe theories and stuff. And of course, tehres always that shit that gives you the WOOOAAAH! head rush. But when i buy my pot, i dont know if its sativa or indica, so i was wondering if anybody can explain in detail what the effects of sativa are, and what the effects of indica are. Thanks in advance

    aghh now there's a hard one..........it's easier to tell if any of the leaves are still there, ie small ones, then it's most likely an indica...........if none, then it could be a sativa, as sativas leaves are long and thin like finges, indicas are broad short leaves, and little leaves...............most sativa buds are kind of whispy and thin.........indicas tend to be thick buds............best way to tell is by effect............pure sativa will send your head off to space, and pure indica will stick you to the couch............if it feels a bit of both, then you can persoanlly rate it a 50-50.........or 60-40 sativa/indica..............you get it?...........best way to tell overall, get 4 people, smoke it, try and focus on if it's a head hit/body, or both, and to what ratio, and you'll find your prob not far off................that said...........you can harvest an Indica early, while the trichomes (crystals) are still clear, or have just turned milky/ partially amber..........and this will give a false negative...........it'll appear to be a head hit, but could have come from a 100% indica.................

    I notice sativa usually makes me a bit more energetic than indica. With indica usually makes me a little more tired but sativa usually has me up and moving. But it doesn't matter too much to me. As long as it is good weed and not shitty weed, than I am happy despite which it is. I am still getting high. That is all that matters.
