i've been lurking the forum the past week in prep for my first grow- i've a small CFL box build and painted, just doing some burn-in type tests to make sure i don't catch anything on fire. I've got 12 x 13W CFLs, and things are getting pretty hot; temp stablizes at 40 degrees C, ( 104 F ) after about 2 hours. the box isn't air tight, but right now there is no venting. i've got two 80mm dc fans moving the air around. I was looking for ways to avoid venting... I read that the max temp for a good grow would be 85 F, I got to thinking that more temp would be a good thing... i seemed to have read that the amount of CO2 limits your grow at high temp this seems to confirmed by the wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photosynthesis#Factors_affecting_photosynthesis so if i push up the CO2 level can i keep the temps high? i was thinking on some sugar water and yeast..
