Has anyone seen this movie, its a mindfuck and a half! My wife and I keep arguing though, at the very end is Cobb still dreaming?
I liked it. but i started to feel that falling into limbo till you wake up wasnt as serious as they made it to be. are u going to be vegetable or something? idk. lol plus i forget most dreams. even lucid dreams fade throughout the day. But yea. Cool movie.
At the end, Cobb's totum was still spinning. Since he was the SUBJECT, this was the only time he was awake the whole movie
But if he were the subject and his totem were still spinning wouldnt he be dreaming? The little wobble the totem gave before the end credits is what makes me think he was awake, but the old lady is firmly convinced otherwise
Honestly I hated the movie, but here's a mindfuck... although the totem is still spinning, right before it cuts you HEAR it drop. Your Devil's Advocate, Nin
he was not dreaming all the way in movie because when he get that articheture girl from college, he was not in dream at that time.
good movie...im pretty sure he was awake the whole movie except when they say theyre going into a dream.
I think Michael Caine made him believe that he found his wife and kids which is why the totem was still spinning, since thats what Leonardo DiCaprio desperately wanted and Michael Caine kept insisting that is that this job won't bring her back and stuff like that Limbo = Suspended in time Basically why bums keep looking for hope in a bottle
I really liked that movie and boy, was it a mindfuck! I think it's one of the best I've seen though, really got me thinking. I believe that he's awake in the end. But one thought, though. The movie could have been less than 2 minutes long if: DiCaprio: I need to do this crazy shit so I can get my US citizenship back and see my children!! Someone else: Move them over here?
I finally got to rent it last night. What a fucking mind blower. I admit I looked up a cool diagram online after to work some stuff out. Going to watch it again now, got a monster bowl waiting.
Michael Caine actually revealed Nolan's original meaning with the film. He said that it wasn't a dream, that he was awake and saw his children in real life.
I found out something crazy about the movie. The music used for the kick in the movie is actually slowed down in the dreams. I didn't notice this until just now and this video confirms it. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVkQ0C4qDvM]YouTube - Inception Music Comparison[/ame]
