  1. so this is my first time growing and im doing it outside, iv read heaps of threads on this site to help me out and theer is just one un answerd question.

can i grow my plants in the ground instead of pots? id grow them in pots at first but when they get a bit bigger will it be ok to put them in the ground cos im aiming to plant about 10 and i think 10 pots will be easyer to see than if they were just in the ground like every other tree

  2. yes you can grow straight into the ground just remember the quality of the soil won't be very good so add some good soil yourself before you transplant

  3. will do, would i need to water more or less or the same if they were in pots?

  4. Just a tiny bit less, make sure the pot has holes in the bottom.

  5. watering frequency is increased with container grows, inground soil has a colder temperature thus losing less moisture also with the ability and senses to stretch the roots deep once drying out occurs, in both situations completely drying out should never happen, you will see the damages within hours, this means determine your climates rate of moisture loss in containers, there were some spaniards posting here last year stating they watered everyday.
