Hello, I am new to growing and I think there is something wrong with my plant. Pictures will give you the most detail about whats going on. The new growth coming in is weak, bends and twists easily, and almost looks 3D like, unlike the flat leaves lower. Growth is also coming in at a very slow rate. I use standard soil nothing special just bagged top soil. My light of choice are florescent, two 42 inch bulbs. I used some miracle grow transplanting fertilizer(4-12-4) and i believe the nitrogen level was too high and that is what was causing this. Anyways, just wanted to make sure. I thank you all in advance for your help.
I agree the plant looks fine. Also your nitrogen isn't too high according to the information provided. You want more nitrogen than phosphorus and potassium in veg (higher N than P and K) and more phosphorus and potassium than nitrogen in flower. The slow/weak growth could be a direct result of not enough nitrogen although your leaves don't seem to be showing any deficiencies. I would just keep going and not worry to much. If they do show some yellowing around the edges of the leaves go get some worm castings to top feed your plant during watering or give it some veg nutes. Remember all plants are different and they all hit a growth spurt at some point. Just be patient. Happy growing and let us know how it goes!
