so for my first grow i just jumped into it, just as an experiment,... threw a seed in a pot with pre-added fert. for "upto 6 months" and it eventually sprouted. during veg. state, i lightly researched growing cannabis, and i used one PAR38, 168 LED blue light with small fan, until preflowering phase.*see picture#1&2* then changed to one cfl. during preflowering first week.*see picture#3*. i soon realized i needed a different temp bulb (around 2500k) and more lumens, so i got 3, 120w cfl's that put out roughly 2500 lumens each (7500 total). and just started adding miracle-grow bloom booster once every two weeks.*15-30-15* my question is, will this be enough for flowering phase,or what should i add/whats missing..??
You have 3 120w EQUIVALENT bulbs. I would say they are 30 actual watts? 2700k is what most people use, but 2500k is fine even though ive never seen that bulb. I have 3 105 actual watt cfls that are 6000k, 3 105 actual watt cfls that are 2700k. These put out upwards of 6000 lumens each. You can still use the size that you are using, but get more and diversify the spectrum. The plant still needs blue spectrum light in addition to the 2500k. Good luck and the wattage stuff doesnt matter anywhere except your electric bill. Just get the most lumens and correct color temp.(K)
yes! 125w equivalent is exactly what i meant! my next plan is to buy splitters and use 3 6000k, and 3 2700k cfls and max out as many lumens as possible. thanks.
Hey. Why do you guys even use the term actual/equivalent watts? The information is not good for anything...I bet it's a 26 watter. Anyway, your setup is good, bulbs and all. What is your RH and temps? The nutes is OK for flowering and you shouldn't need anything else, but there are alot of other addatives that can be use to increase yeild. These are often expensive and is not absolutly nessecary to begin with. This is to maximize yeild...
