I'm looking for the illest, rawest hip hop out there because it's getting difficult to find. You may call me picky but...

-Large vocabulary (I'm tired of generic rhymes)
    -meaningful metaphors, unique, wacky, creative
    -deep lyrics
-bangin' production (PREFERABLY sampled [vinyl pops are most preferred!] you know, that old school vibe)
    -Word play

-Abundant scratching and inserts (got to love it)
-Listening to 1 good song by an artist is fine and all, but i'm looking more for albums

Artists i find that meet this criteria:

    -Phi Life Cypher
    -Souls of Mischief
    -Jedi Mind Tricks
    -Jurassic 5
    -Binary Star
    -The Perceptionists
    -Gang Starr
-There are more, and perhaps even better, but no need to list all the good artists I have
-If you haven't heard of some of the listed artists, I recommend checkin' them out immediately
