I'm headin' out to Berkeley to pick up a new piece. I was kinda torn between getting a steamroller, a spoon, or a sherlock. I think I'll go with something like this: http://shop.grasscity.com/images/item_detail/2690_400.jpg, but totally clear and perhaps a bit bigger.
Yeah, I'm going to Big Al's. I might check out Whelan's first, since it's on the way, but I'm a faithful Big Al consumer.
Back when I was a young'n, surfing the GrassCity shop with wide eyes, I was going to buy that pipe as well. I still have a soft spot for it. I may order it eventually.
I ended up getting a sherlock kinda piece, because Big Al's didn't have a Gandalf pipe. It's still very nice. I'll post a pic of it soon, hopefully.
