I feel like my patch is a powdery mildew disaster waiting to happen. I have yet to do any preventative so my next watering will be with actinovate. A buddy of mine tells me that i need to basically hollow out my plants because where i am at is prime for pm. he showed me his plants and he has cut all large fan leaves of for better light and airflow. there is no way i could do that but what about all the stuff in the middle that hardly sees any light. A couple of my plants are so thick that the leaves are basically tangled up and overlapping laying on one another. I read a few months ago not to cut anything and for the most part i havnt. The dense growth inside the plant does seem to me like a prime place for mold problems to start. need some input please..
Immunox, get it now. Use it now at a weak dose, then use it again in he 3 weeks. Use it again 3 weeks later then make sure u stop a month before harvest. I live in florida this stuff really saved my ass, I did a test and my control plant with no immunox died a month into flowering the rest were fine
Try neem oil. I have a vegetable garden and PM absolutely decimated my squash and pumpkins, I have bad luck with PM.
