    Hey guys, normally I am not really into rap/hip-hop or what ever. However, Immortal Technique is different from most rap. He talks about some crazy government conspiracies and trys to relate it to his life in New York. I really enjoy his music, in one song he talks about how he wouldn't sign to a record label since they wanted him to change up his style. It could be just a unique marketing scheme but who knows? Enough with the bullshit, here is some of his music. :smoke:

    Oh yea man, he is really underground as he rejected 2 or 3 label deals from big companies but only cause he didn't want them taking any of his profit. Anyways he is a really crazy lyricist and rapper altogether.

    The opening line is on of my all-time favorites, the entire first verse is just plain dope.

    Yeah he's not the best rapper ever but lyrically he's still a monster. Haven't listened to any Technique in months, I guess it's about that time again.

    Yeah his song lyrics are insane. I've been listening to a lot of different music since there is like 4 feet of snow everywhere and its impossible to do anything outside. Damn Connecticut Winters.

    He's ill, he's a revolutionary. Search "immortal technique interview" on youtube, he's obviously extremely articulate and intelligent. Dance with the devil is fucking ill, gave me chills at the end and had me thinking for a few weeks how fucked up that is, I'm sure it's real, rappers who make things up do it for fans , fans ---> money and he's not like that at all.

    until i heard some of this, i thought that nearly all music was great and anybody who wanted to ban it is a freaking nazi. but seriously i heard this stuff about a year ago and i fucking hated it.


    i love rap and all sorts but seriously man the stuff he talks about, even though they are well known campfire stories it still makes me sick. i dont want it anywhere near my ears.

    does anybody know of any recent works by him? maybe a new mixtape or something? its pretty difficult to keep up to date with him i think.

    The 3rd World was his last official release that I know of.... he pops up on features every so often though. He did Modern day Slavery or something like that with joell I'm pretty sure. He was on Diabolic's new album too. I don't really keep up with Tech anymore but I probably would have found out if he had something new out... don't hold me to it though lol.

    Saw him live a few years back, after the show he stayed around selling some merchandise, he was a cool dude, signed my shirt for me :)

    This is my favorite song by IT(even though its heavily featured), just listen to the lyrics. It tells the story of the Drug Trade from the Fields to America.
