Finally got my vacation out of the way now it's time to start my next grow.About two months ago I ordered from Dr. Chronic. The seeds in question are Northern Light from KC Brains. I opened the package only to find inside of their original envelope a ziplock bag with 10 very pail very immature looking seeds. Not one seed was near brown, which is what you'd expect, or even a blond color which I've had before depending on strain. I know what immature seeds look like and these are definately in that catagory. To make a long sotry short I germinated the NL and 4 other strains...first by soaking overnight... then into a damp wash cloth, preferred over paper towels, then into a covered plastic container. Been germinating this way for years with extremely good results. All of the other strains popped as usual, even my Kali Mist that's been in storage for over 3 years in the fridge. They were the first to crack and are by far the biggest at this point.I'd suggest anyone considering buying any NL from Dr. Chronic buy nirvana or some other breeders strain. Buying the KC Brains strain looks like a total waist of money.I've bought from the Doc before with no problems so it's not a case of being PO'd at him. It just happens to be this particular strain from this particular breeder. In my opinion these seeds should never have been offered for sale by the breeder. And because they come from the breeder in their envelopes and can't be seen till the envelope is opened, I certainly can't blame Dr. Chronic for sending them.
+rep to you for realizing the Doc wasn't at fault and KC Brains packaged their own shitty seeds. the doc has always been good to me. just shoot him an e-mail and let him know what's up. he usually does what he can to right the situation.
just from reading a few boards this seems to be a Breeder issue(KC brains) and not a Doc Issue. it looks like this batch of seeds were all like you recieved. peace wwonka
