Herman Cain Says Medical Marijuana Regulation Should Be Left To The States

For all you Cain haters, Gloria Alred is a scam. Once I saw her on TV, I knew 100% the allegations against him are BS. Listen to the women, its all BS. Also, everyone has made comments to women before... I'd assume most men do.

Next, he won't do anything to fuck with the country. We need to not be raising taxes now. 9-9-9 would help. People need to get over the government handouts. He will cut down the size of the government and increase it! People don't know enough about the political spectrum. Everyone thinks right or left, which neglects up and down. Up is authoritarian down is libertarian. Just because someone is far to the right, doesn't mean they will be like a Bush or a Rick Perry. They are more authoritarian. There can be politicians on the far right and the far left, yet are the same height on the authoritarian, libertarian scale.

The scam in politics is that people are more libertarian than they think, yet they only think of politics as up and down instead of right to left.

and Europe... Europe all those candidates would be on the left on our scale. There are different scales other than ours. You can still see the how most candidates are very authoritarian. We need to elect officials who are more libertarian, they are on our side.

Better chance than Obama

Obama gave a different answer, he said don't break state law and federal law. This allows room for judgement by the feds. All they have to say is they are breaking both state and federal law.

Hermain Cain is arguing from a states right argument.... a libertarian argument. He believes what a state chooses is their choice. That means full legalization or medical the feds would leave you alone.


Obama always said we shouldn't legalize weed. Cain's argument is very different.

 

What are your reasons to not like him? Please let me know and I mean policies not mudslinging. I watch cspan, fox, msnbc, cnbc, and cnn. I lost my taste for anything but politics on TV.

For everyone here who doesn't like him, seems like a lot. Please tell me why? I'm open to changing my mind if people give me links to videos, stories etc.

Also, if you guys don't agree with me still.... think of it this way. This will further spread, weed awareness (the key to getting weed legalized) especially in conservative southern communities. The fact he made those comments, 100 people may change their minds about prohibition. 100 more people may open their eyes to the corruption of our government. 100 more people may open their eyes to the fact that the federal government entrapped patients by telling them he would back off.

If it were Hermain Cain vs Obama in the elections, who would you vote for? Or would you write in Ron Paul.

Ron Paul won't be get the nomination. Look at my sig and read my old posts. Our president will be, Obama, Romney, Newt, or Cain. Nobody else stands a chance. I would love Paul or Gary Johnson, but in 2012 they won't be elected.

MSNBC? I take MSNBC and Fox with a grain of salt. I don't have much respect for MSNBC, because one of their hosts (forget his name) is a self proclaimed socialist. Socialism is the wrong direction for the country as is authoritarian conservatism.

And your right, I shouldn't have taken that attitude. This is the internet and we don't know each other. I think this allows for a cool dynamic, because we lose a lot of our biases over the internet.


I just don't understand people's attacks on the wealthy... corrupted politicians being influenced by corporations is a different issue. People attack the wealthy. Don't forget about the 90-99%. Just because they are wealthy doesn't mean they are corrupt. Even the 80-89%, they have money, but they aren't anywhere near the 1%. Do you agree we need a tax overhaul in this country? I believe we need to simplify the system, therefore corporations won't have loopholes to cut back on taxes. I also don't like the idea of a wealthier person paying more on taxes than the wealthier people. Why should someone be penalized for making more money?

9-9-9 will reduce the size of the federal government, which I think is a very good thing. It wasn't even until the WW1 era where we had an income tax. Why do we need one? People in the 90-98% get taxed 30-40%. Thats a lot!

No he didn't, they made two very different statements. Obama has always been against legalization.

Obama never said anything about states rights. These are two very very very different comments and people would be foolish to over look this. Skip to 1:10 in the video. He basically says here he wants Pharma weed. Obama promised to not be as hard, not to allow medical states to do whatever they want.

Obama- medical marijuana needs to be regulated, we just want control over it
Cain- what a state choses is up to them

I don't know how Cain could come back from that statement; however, crazier things have happened.


Legalization is going to happen one way or another, so why not get it done right without regulations on the industry. Once its legalized, we next need to fight the regulations that will come, regulations Obama wants.
