If its Obama vs Cain in the elections.... Herman Cain Says Medical Marijuana Regulation Should Be Left To The States For all you Cain haters, Gloria Alred is a scam. Once I saw her on TV, I knew 100% the allegations against him are BS. Listen to the women, its all BS. Also, everyone has made comments to women before... I'd assume most men do. Next, he won't do anything to fuck with the country. We need to not be raising taxes now. 9-9-9 would help. People need to get over the government handouts. He will cut down the size of the government and increase it! People don't know enough about the political spectrum. Everyone thinks right or left, which neglects up and down. Up is authoritarian down is libertarian. Just because someone is far to the right, doesn't mean they will be like a Bush or a Rick Perry. They are more authoritarian. There can be politicians on the far right and the far left, yet are the same height on the authoritarian, libertarian scale. The scam in politics is that people are more libertarian than they think, yet they only think of politics as up and down instead of right to left. Lets look at the candidates on the graph: 2008 election- http://www.politicalcompass.org/uselection2008 and Europe... Europe all those candidates would be on the left on our scale. There are different scales other than ours. You can still see the how most candidates are very authoritarian. We need to elect officials who are more libertarian, they are on our side. http://www.politicalcompass.org/euchart Better chance than Obama Obama gave a different answer, he said don't break state law and federal law. This allows room for judgement by the feds. All they have to say is they are breaking both state and federal law. Hermain Cain is arguing from a states right argument.... a libertarian argument. He believes what a state chooses is their choice. That means full legalization or medical the feds would leave you alone. Obama always said we shouldn't legalize weed. Cain's argument is very different.
Well then I don't like you. Herman Cain just says whatever he thinks will boost his support. He flip flops on issues constantly.
What are your reasons to not like him? Please let me know and I mean policies not mudslinging. I watch cspan, fox, msnbc, cnbc, and cnn. I lost my taste for anything but politics on TV. For everyone here who doesn't like him, seems like a lot. Please tell me why? I'm open to changing my mind if people give me links to videos, stories etc.
He has a better chance than Ron Paul to get elected. Also, if you guys don't agree with me still.... think of it this way. This will further spread, weed awareness (the key to getting weed legalized) especially in conservative southern communities. The fact he made those comments, 100 people may change their minds about prohibition. 100 more people may open their eyes to the corruption of our government. 100 more people may open their eyes to the fact that the federal government entrapped patients by telling them he would back off. And again, read what Hermain Cain said vs Obama, very different messages.
He's pandering to get votes because hes slipping and everyone knows it, with the exception of you. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRbYO69MdAk]Herman Cain Dodges Medical Marijuana Question at 2011 Ames Straw Poll - YouTube[/ame] 9-9-9 Raises taxes on everyone but the top 1% btw, you may want to do some research before voting for whoever the idiot box is displaying on any given day.
If it were Hermain Cain vs Obama in the elections, who would you vote for? Or would you write in Ron Paul. Ron Paul won't be get the nomination. Look at my sig and read my old posts. Our president will be, Obama, Romney, Newt, or Cain. Nobody else stands a chance. I would love Paul or Gary Johnson, but in 2012 they won't be elected. Surprised people are so against him here. I don't trust Alred, she is a democratic leader. Hmmm...... There's propoganda from both sides.
Research? Thats funny. I'm not about to go into this on an internet forum, but trust me dude, I know a thing or two about politics and the law. Stop drinking the cool-aid 9-9-9 helps everybody paying more than 9%. This is complete class warfare. You really don't seem to understand the economics of this this at all. Tax Bracket\tSingle\tMarried Filing Jointly\tHead of Household 10% Bracket\t$0 – $8,500\t$0 – $17,000\t$0 – $12,150 15% Bracket\t$8,500 – $34,500\t$17,000 – $69,000\t$12,150 – $46,250 25% Bracket\t$34,500 – $83,600\t$69,000 – $139,350\t$46,250 – $119,400 28% Bracket\t$83,600 – $174,400\t$139,350 – $212,300\t$119,400 – $193,350 33% Bracket\t$174,400 – $379,150\t$212,300 – $379,150\t$193,350 – $379,150 35% Bracket\t$379,150+\t$379,150+\t$379,150+ So now after looking at the official 2011 Income Taxes, are you sure 9-9-9 will still only effect the 1%? Lay off the cool-aid, its the opposite! Everybody but the really poor will receive lower taxes. Explain this please I'm all for a lot of what occupy stands for; however, I don't believe in socialism rather libertarianism.
What issues has he flip flopped on..... if you showed me videos or evidence, I might change my mind and start bashing him. Obama- flip flop Romney- flip flop newt- flip flop
Fuck the Occupy movement, my last post has absolutely nothing to do with that lmfao... Here's the graph 9-9-9 in One (Really Long) Graph | Jared Bernstein | On the Economy
Top 20%, my bad. And for your information I know plenty about economics, so before you spout off with your holier than thou attitude you may want to remember that this is the internet. You know nothing about me, and you don't have to know what tax bracket I am in for me to show you valid proof that 9-9-9 is a sham. Herman Cain is a joke candidate, take it away Rachel... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9Ze-ejTC7c[/ame]
And he offered Kissinger Secretary of State. FUCK THAT! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAGGpK7bSWc]Herman Cain's Libya Disaster - YouTube[/ame]
I'm just going to put out there Obama said the same thing, how he was going leave dispensaries following state law alone, then he turns around after we elect him and attacks California's clubs. Same will probably happen with Cain.
MSNBC? I take MSNBC and Fox with a grain of salt. I don't have much respect for MSNBC, because one of their hosts (forget his name) is a self proclaimed socialist. Socialism is the wrong direction for the country as is authoritarian conservatism. And your right, I shouldn't have taken that attitude. This is the internet and we don't know each other. I think this allows for a cool dynamic, because we lose a lot of our biases over the internet. I just don't understand people's attacks on the wealthy... corrupted politicians being influenced by corporations is a different issue. People attack the wealthy. Don't forget about the 90-99%. Just because they are wealthy doesn't mean they are corrupt. Even the 80-89%, they have money, but they aren't anywhere near the 1%. Do you agree we need a tax overhaul in this country? I believe we need to simplify the system, therefore corporations won't have loopholes to cut back on taxes. I also don't like the idea of a wealthier person paying more on taxes than the wealthier people. Why should someone be penalized for making more money? 9-9-9 will reduce the size of the federal government, which I think is a very good thing. It wasn't even until the WW1 era where we had an income tax. Why do we need one? People in the 90-98% get taxed 30-40%. Thats a lot! Sorry again if I came across as an asshole. Hopefully we can get Ron Paul in, but if we don't, I can't vote for Obama, Romney, Newt, or any other candidate (besides Johnson).
No he didn't, they made two very different statements. Obama has always been against legalization. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvUziSfMwAw]Barack Obama and Medical Marijuana (interview Q&A) - YouTube[/ame] vs states rights Obama never said anything about states rights. These are two very very very different comments and people would be foolish to over look this. Skip to 1:10 in the video. He basically says here he wants Pharma weed. Obama promised to not be as hard, not to allow medical states to do whatever they want. Cain: http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2011/nov/16/herman-cain-marijuana-states-rights-issue/ “If states want to legalize medical marijuana, I think that's a state’s right," Cain said while shaking hands in Urbandale, Iowa. “Because one of my overriding approaches to looking at all of these issues — most of them belong at the state, because when you do something federally ... you try to force one-size-fits-all.” Those are COMPLETELY different statements. Obama- medical marijuana needs to be regulated, we just want control over it Cain- what a state choses is up to them I don't know how Cain could come back from that statement; however, crazier things have happened. Legalization is going to happen one way or another, so why not get it done right without regulations on the industry. Once its legalized, we next need to fight the regulations that will come, regulations Obama wants. Paul, Cain, or Johnson or were fucked
