  1. So yea, the title says it all. I'm 18 about to be 19 in November. Well I'm one of the skinniest people I know for how tall I am and how much I weigh, (6-2,130 lbs.). I've always been a skinny guy though throughout my entire life. It's not like I don't eat or I'm anorexic or anything, I just feel as though I never put on any weight(muscle or fat). I've played soccer my entire life, but as a goalie (to lazy to run a lot haha) but I was really good too and love the sport of soccer. I used to go to the gym at least 3-4 days a week but haven't gone in over 4 months. I don't want to be the skinny guy my entire life, cause honestly if anything were to happen, I feel as if I would be overpowered. Which is why I try to avoid these situations most of the time. Anyways, I feel like I need to start a gym routine again, and I'm thinking of starting again once school starts but I always have had a lazy personality, no matter what it is. Has anyone else been through the same situation or know any good short workouts?

  2. You just need to condition. A UFC lightweight could take most people who are heavy weights  (unless they're pro). It's all in what you know.

  3. Eat a can of this every day until you are at your desired weight.

  4. Slowly increase calories(with a good work out routine/diet of course) until you figure out what your metabolic rate is. This should let you know how many calories per day to consume to put on weight. Also, look into macro-nutrient breakdowns. A good place to start would be 50/30/20....being 50% complex carbs, 30% protein, 20% healthy fats.

Eat and gym, that is all. Someone explained it better above, but yeah. Make sure you are on a caloric surplus, which means you have to eat more calories than it takes to maintain your bodyweight everyday.

I used to be in the same boat. You really just need to eat plenty of food (healthy food) and work out. Not much else, and you need to get past the laziness. I was the same way. Salmon, chicken, rice, cheeses, yogurts, nuts, all that good shit. Eat even when you're not hungry. Instead of 3 big meals a day do 5-6 smaller ones with snacks in between. If you're not eating enough, working out isn't going to do shit.

As far as working out, just do whatever excercises you want I guess, just go easy on the cardio.

  18. I feel you man. My whole life i was skinny and people always comment on how skinny i was. Then one day stop feeling sorry for myself and start hitting the weight and eat like a fucking pig. Ive gained about 22 pounds in about 4-5 months.
You say you eat but cannot gain weigh, the reason why you cannot gain weigh because you dont eat enough. You think you eat enough but once you start counting your cals, youll be suprise at the cals you eat daily. Which i would guarantee the cals you eat in a day is below or enough to maintain your current weight. "know any good short workouts" Hell no, if you want to gain weight only hardwork and dedication will get you there. My only advice for you is to do full body workout 2-3 times a week, try to limit your cardio, which is soccer. For your nutrition eat lots of proteins and get a goodnight of sleep, dont stay up late.

  19. i used to be skinny bak in oregon but gained weight from all the alcohol and heat now im 193

  20. Like others have said, eat eat and eat more.   I would suggest not even touching the gym until you get your diet where it needs to be.  All the lifting in the world isn't going to put substantial mass on your body if you don't get your diet right.
