I'm so new! Am I doing it right?

  1. Hi all, big fan, first time poster:

I am growing feminized from seed. I am in a dry(ish) climate. My grow is hydroponic Rockwool.

I am at a critical point and want to ensure I'm doing it right. So far:

6.5 ph Cup 18 hours 20 seeds about 80% crack the husk

Paper towel covered 3 days - some have started to turn brown by the husk. Two won't crack or germ, the rest show a tap root. I have the other two back in a water cup. No action.

Soak Rockwool 24h in 5.5 ph. I figured that would be two hours but I thought I'd let it wait until the next day.

Placed seeds in Rockwool, tap root down slightly covered by Rockwool 1mm tops.

I have 3 out but the rest are hidden. I have them under T5 CFL with dome. Temp is 25c. Ph 6.5 water no nutrients on a rack.

I understand I should leave them be for a few days to get them to root.

    Any thoughts?

  2. You should be shooting for 5.9 with your nute solution or water.
