Actually, I think the bookshelf itself is supposed to sit at an angle. It works like a "step-up shelf," with the shelf being diagonal up your wall, and books being upright. It's just not shown "straight" in the picture. But on topic: I'm definately buzzed trying to figure out what to do at 6am.
