It's true. I'm moving to California to apprentice under Dustin Revere, a famous lampworker, as a glassblower. It's a radical change in my life, as I will be leaving college, and starting a whole new era in it. It's going to be challenging, emotional, but most of all- fun. Wish me luck, I'm going to need it. I'm California bound. Peace and Love, Trikky
wow sounds like a good switch for you hope u have fun i can tell u have a passion for glass just by seeing ur collections man good luck
your quitting school for glass blowing? if thats your plan imho i would enroll in school in cali and appertence at the same time
Holy fuck, that's badass. I'd love to learn to blow glass, but I'm very far from being able to do that...... ...You should totally make me a bong, so I can throw away this lemonade bottle *edit what banana blunt said. It's always good to have a backup plan, and glassblowing seems to be a kind of sporadic form of employment... Like you might make massive amounts, and might end up making pocket change comissioning stuff locally, you know?
I think I've got it under control. I am 22 years old, and have been supporting myself and living on my own since I was 16. I've got it under control. Thanks for the concern though. Thanks everyone for the kind words and concern. It's going to be a good time.
If there's one thing you know, it's glass Good luck man...this doesn't mean you're leaving the board or anything, right
I've wanted to move to cali since I was about 14, and blow glass since about 17... Unfortunately I have never really had the money or knowledge to do either, glad to hear someone is making it work though. I'll have to commission a bong from you one day .
Oh, didn't mean to imply that, I know you can take care of business. Just sayin, options never hurt anyone. Anyway, best of luck to you, keep us updated on how it goes.
