  1. i forgot to detox the weed, right now im making special milk using the red colored milk. what will happen if i finish making the milk and drink it.

  2. What the hell is this thread supposed to be about?

  3. im asking what will happen if i drink special milk that wasnt decarbo.

  4. Let us know how that tastes.

  5. thats all decarbo does is make it taste better, i dont care about it then cause im not that picky in the taste buds:smoke:

  6. Umm... what?

  7. the step where you cook the weed plain at like 200 degrees for about 10 minutes

  8. What milk are you talking about man. Im so lost with what your asking. Milk + Weed? Idunno what you want to do.

  9. I'm as clueless as everyone else but I'm especially intrigued by "red colored milk".

EDIT - I'm guessing red milk is the strawberry Nestle's Quick?

  10. I make special milk

  11. That shit is soo good. But its pink...oh I get it red and white.make pink

  12. no red is WHOLE MILK, ok i was very high VERY VERY HIGH, i was asking what happens if i forgot to decarboxylation the weed before the process.

  13. nah people usually decarb if the weed is especially fresh or wet. For most weed, decarbing in an oven or however you want to, won't make much of a difference.

Just simmer it with the milk in a pot for 20 minutes or so and strain...I eat the weed just for the hell of it.

  14. Decarbing makes a huge difference... especially if you're processing your herb in a water based solution. It's like trying to boil the water out of a potato, versus what happens to that moisture in a pure, water-free oil source (think potato chip ;) ).

Decarboxylation is the process of removing the carboxyl group in the form of carbon dioxide and water vapor, this can not happen very easily or readily in a mixture full of water. Right now, you'll be relying on what little was already activated as part of the nature aging and degradation process. And when trying to break down glandular material in a diluted solvent (oil, and mostly water), rather than creating a solution you're going to now be relying on whatever cannabinoids, that have been activated, who also manage to hitch a ride on the few lipids present. The more oily the milk the more effect it will have on cellular permeability, but without allowing the cannabinoids to actually bond to a 'lipid vehicle', their odds of timely absorption are diminished.

Cannabis glandular material is notoriously difficult for the body to absorb. Edible cannabis has the potential to be much more powerful, than smoking the same amount.. but only with the right processing.

Just keep in mind that these methods can and will work...

I'm not saying they don't; man has been eating raw, and partially-raw cannabis for thousands of years with a decent amount of success. :) But we've learned a lot over the last few decades, about activation, absorption, and how cannabinoids and terpenes actually interact with our edible solvents (oil, alcohol, glycerin etc.), and then how they react within our bodies.

What I am saying, is that these methods where we begin cutting corners, are reliant on multiplying the amount of material truly required for a dose... in other words, however much material it takes to get you medicated, when processing incorrectly, would likely provide several stronger doses had you not cut any corners. So it's not that inferior processing methods do not work, it is more that they require more material to achieve the desired effect.

This is why we have so much dosage discrepancy, and so many failed edible stories... for instance, you would not want to use the small amount of material needed for a powerful effect in an oil, in a firecracker for instance. You need three to four times more. The dose varies, depending how well you process your edible.
Dosage is dependent on three basic variables; 1) the quality of the material you're working with, 2) your personal tolerance, and 3) your processing methods. If you skimp out on the last, and eat virtually raw cannabis (or try to rush, and over-process), the first two variables almost don't matter. Processing is a crucial step, to the overall effectiveness of your edible.

Sorry for the long post.. hope this helps. :)

  15. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    decarb =/= detox.

  16. im drinking the special milk, i poured myself a glass of milk and added 2oz of the special milk to it. this stuff is concentrated(2 grams vaped and 2 grams green weed into 16 oz of milk which after boiling/straining gave me about 8oz
