im making canna butter help??

    i see some brown stuff on the side of my mason jar which can be either butter bud. does this maen i burned some butter + bud?
    I added about 8oz of water to my pan and heated to medium and put butter and bud in mason jar and close the lid. i see some brown shit but wtf is it?

    the smell was more of a buttery but I didn't smell the scent of cannabis. The stuff I used was high grade marijuana. I added water like 10 minutes after simmering

    Ya I'm not sure about the water in it... I've never done it that way but i think i've read about it here.

    It looks like you may have burned your butter; doesn't mean it's a waste, just tates kinda harsh. I mean there is really only one way to find out!
