I'm looking to lose some weight, nothing serious, I just put on some fat and I want to get it off. But the thing is, I'm in college, so Thursday-Saturday I'm drinking anywhere from 5-8 drinks a night. I refuse to stop drinking lol, but I still wanna lose some weight. Anything special I should be doing on the days I drink to counter the alcohol? I'll probably start cutting out all juices and sodas in general and just drink water, and probably cut down on the calories on days I'm gonna drink, but are there any other dietary measures I can take? I don't exercise much btw, but I just got a job as a referee so I'll be doing some cardio but really not much haha
15-24 drinks a week? Hahahahahahaha. Sorry but good luck with that. You also drink soda and don't exercise. Eat 500 calories a day and you might lose some weight. Seriously though, it's obvious you're not serious about losing weight so that's why I didn't give you a serious response. If you really wanted to lose weight you would stop drinking, start exercising, and get your diet in check. If you're not willing to make sacrifices then you'll never meet your goals. Have fun with your beer belly.
Do what I do....let's say I'm going to have 10 Coors Lights @ 102 calories a piece, I make sure I burn 1020+ calories on the treadmill or StairMaster. If you eat well and burn excess calories throughout the week, the calories from alcohol won't affect you AS MUCH.
Make smarter choices in the cafeteria. Do not mix your shitty low shelf alcohol with sodas. Drink water in place of high calorie beverages.
Try drinking ONLY in the evenings, say 1800-2400, but every 3 drinks you gotta smoke a joint, ....it worked for me its the VOSTOK diet lololol.. and the only time you eat.... cornflakes for breaky..UGH! a burger for lunch YEAH! and anything you want for supper,, but YOU HAVE TO BE BLAZING to eat supper thats the rule, screw weight watchers, it took 18 months for me to loose shit loads, I'm now the same size as when I was 18 years old, WARNING: This diet is very very difficult to break, but does work good luck "V"
Lmao so many funny responses thanks guys. Just to clarify though, I usually drink about 5 or 6 drinks but occasionally i will drink up to 8. I'm an athlete so I can process it, but I just don't have the time/energy in school to exercise. I think I'm just gonna try to limit my calories. How can I boost my metabolism? What kind of foods should I be eating? My friend told me that green tea boost the metabolism. At least this way I won't gain as much weight lol.
read bolded...lol wut if you want to lose weight, you shoud be exercising. If your serious about this, than make time, if your not, then go ahead and drink green tea occasionally, see how that works for you.
Join the rugby team at your school. Even more drinking and you can work off the weight reallll quick.
This is really bizarre. Once I started going to my University, I felt like I couldn't do anything but work on school work. From Thursday through Sunday. 5-8 hours a day. Sounds like you have your priorities all kinds of fucked up.
lmao. I used to play soccer, like for 14 years and when I'm not in school I keep in shape, but with school its way stressful and time consuming so I really don't have it in me to work out. hopefully that will change this semester, but I don't think it will Yea... Just because you can't party and have good grades, doesn't mean other people can't. The culture in my school is work hard, play hard, and that's what I do. I drink pretty much every night from thursday to saturday, but I'm also studying every day. I have good time management lol. Plus with smoking weed, I never get a hangover. I'm guessing you think I'm a guy lol. I've seen the girls rugby team. I'd rather carry a little extra weight (which I can easily lose over winter break) than look like a dyke. Oops! That wasn't very politically correct of me

Im in college and i drink basically every day, blacking out at least twice a week and i still am approaching my goals with some accuracy. Not that im trying to promote that lifestyle, im well aware of the tolld its taking on my body. But in terms of bodybuilding at this level you should still make plenty of progress. Just dont get lazy and miss workouts or skip out on protein for a day.
knock the calories out of your drinking. I'm assuming you drink like a girl and either chug beers or drink sweet girly drinks. Don't do that. GRab some sailor jerry or bacardi 151 and drink 50/50 with diet cherry cola. 50 calories/oz booze. means you are just drinking 400 cals a night, so just cut back during the day and you'll be stright.
Thank you sir! That is the best answer so far. I usually just start off with shots to pregame and then when I get to the party I sip on rum and coke or something. no sweet girly drinks. I'm a fan of 151 so this is a great excuse to drink more of it!
