I'm gonna die anyway, why not take a shortcut?

  1. no point in life really........whether I live happy or depressed I'm still gonna die. %m tire of life really....i don't have some terrible childhood which messed me up but I was always depressed and alone. No point in talking to friends cause they won't understand. Ever since I was young I always bottled stuff up and now I think I'm at the top...at this point I don't mind dying and thoughts of death become more frequent.

  2. I think your error is in assuming people won't understand. There are always people who can relate to what you are feeling. Maybe not in your close circle of friends but they are there. If you aren't willing to go and find them then I don't know what to tell ya.

  3. Far to pessimistic. If your inevitably gonna die why not make the most of it? Have as much fun as possible and give no fucks. C'mon bro

  4. I think you need some cannabis and a ready and willing warm body to share your bed and thoughts with. Best therapy I know of.

  5. Human life is such an amazing thing, it's really a shame to let any life go to waste.

  6. it really is a rare thing to be conscious and existing you know. Don't waste it just because it's going to end. Why eat a delicious cheeseburger if it's just going to turn into a turd? Because cheeseburgers taste good man

  7. What.

  9. im the same way except i don't sob about it. i want to live my life as big as i can. yeah thats true we are gonna die one way or another. but i think you take out of consideration is that there's people dying of cancer right now wishing they had our freedom of health. your not even at the lowest point yet

  10. why live? to make a difference in this world.
so you can make the lives better of those who choose to live.
be it people, or animals - you can make the world a better place before you exit it.

Why waste the incredible opportunity that has been presented to you that we call "life"?

Shit gets better man, I promise :)

  11. People can't understand or at least to try to understand with that kind of thinking. Even if they don't truly know, bottling it up does nothing. You put it in the back of your mind but when depressed, that's where you go to think. Everything you suppressed resurfaces. Talking it out and coming to terms is a much more efficient way of dealing with personal struggles.

I'm not going to tell you there is so much to life or be happy you aren't starving or homeless because I understand. The exterior of life can be fine but the interior can be an illusion of happiness. All I can say is to surround yourself with positive people. People who make you happy. Become more active with others or even physically active. Exercise and a better diet can make you feel naturally good. Pick up hobbies that you enjoy and try to express yourself more often like writing.

As to "there is no point in life" well to some extent that is true if you will it so. My take on life is that you give it meaning. Set goals to achieve to better yourself. I can't make YOUR decisions but I suggest you really think about the choices you will make for your future.

I won't call you weak or selfish for wanting death like many may think. We are all apart of life overcoming obstacles. We have good days and we have shitty days and yeah, the shitty days really seem to happen more often BUT the good days help me hold on to my will to live. I still have much to see and experience. I want to see what path I will take and where that will lead me. Life is more interesting than you may think but if you don't think then how can you know? :devious:

Hope tomorrow is a better day! Hope may be empty but it fills my will.

  12. I think people who smoke weed and go on grasscity are an amazzing group of people.......i bet you guys are really cool to hang with....btw thanks guys, I really needed a pick me up.........i have no weed

  13. If I knew forsure id die soon , id do a plethora of drugs

  14. Because the GC mods are very heartless, We are not allowed to consol people about suicide.

  15. He is basically saying life is going to end, so why not end it. So I am saying, if all food basically turns into turds why not just eat basic food like lettuce and corn all day for the rest of your life? Eat cheeseburgers means enjoy life because you know the difference between pleasure and pain. Because you are a conscious existing individual who has the ability, among all life on the planet to physically say "yes, this burger is delicious". Life is rare. Consciousness is even rarer. Don't waste it because all life ends

  16. I would hang out with you man. Too bad you don't live in missouri. I have tons of bud :/

  17. I think he was trying to make the point that we should strive to live in the present moment as much as we can. Stop worrying about the past, because you can't change it. Stop worrying about the future, because it isn't there yet.

99% of human suffering comes from the fact that we cannot accept what is the now... evolution has given us huge brains, but it comes with a consequence. simply put, modern humans think about shit way too much.

OP, I highly suggest you pick up the book "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. It has changed the way I look at the world.

  18. Also, I'm assuming you have a mother. My little brother died last december from a drug overdose. It is obviously the worst pain I've ever had to go through in my life. But can you imagine my poor mother? I feel so much worse for her than I do for myself. So with that being said, life is technically pointless, but it sure does suck to hurt everyone you leave behind with your passing.

  19. we're all the same. shed your ego, your gender, your culture, and we are all one

  20. The only problem I have with that is I think my friend takes it way to literally. He doesn't try in school and has become quite boring. I get don't stress too much on the future but have some consideration.
