I'm going to try something...

  1. .... Lets call it freeing my mind. I've been unwireing my the beliefs system in my brain thats been installed in me since I was very young. Enlightenment here I come!:smoke:

Anyone else have experience doing this? how did it go? I assume very well, I feel great. :)

  2. I was at the point you were about 2 months ago.

As soon as you forget everything you've been taught and re-evaluate it, things start to open up, make more sense, and at the very least raise questions to be answered.

I'm not saying this is typical of the experience, but my life has been so much better. I dont mean like promotions, or lottery winnings or anything. But I've been a lot happier. The best advice I can give for your journey is be completely and utterly honest with yourself. Face them head on, and a lot of questions, and subsequently answers, will follow suit.

Take a look into meditation if that prospect interests you at all. Best wishes :)

  3. Very nice idea!
I did it at age 10, which was the first time I tried cannabis.
I denounced the catholic church, took more stock in reason and logic, and became a freethinker. All good things for me. It was very enlightening.

  4. thats exactly what im doing. It's like, im not shunning off religion all together, ifthats where my quest leads me than so be it. But in my eyes from here on out personal observation with my 5 senses is all I trust.

  5. You ever try LSD?

  6. No and never will. I'm already:eek: kinda mental throwing LSD in the mix who knows what I'd do. I fear that drug in all respect. However I've tried shrooms before and have been wanting to trip lately. The last trip(highschool) didn't do the shrooms justice I was around some questionable people.

day 2: Never felt better, however got into some controversial debates with my mom and was being completely honest with her(thats what its all about). Hehe, she's never seen this side of me but I can tell she respects it.

  7. shrooms are more intense than acid

  8. eh, I've known my share of acidheads and shroomheads and I tend to disagree. shrooms are natural and I trust nature before some mad scientist but thats just me. And I would take a low dose most people trip on an 8th i'd do a half 8th and just kinda chill. Heard too many horror stories, I've tried shrooms and I know my body reacts well too it. Acid I dont know about acid but I dont intend to find out. That shits extinct anyways...

  9. If by extinct you mean everywhere and from what I understand, an amazing mind opening drug, yes, it's extinct.

As I understand it acid and shrooms are very similer and how they affect you or which one is stronger depends on the person taking them.

  10. you must've mistaken me, or I wasnt being clear. I fear acid in all respect. I understand its power, potential and uses and I CHOOSE not to touch it. I dont need to "open" my mind its already open, now i'm just going to take it all in if that makes sense probly not lol

i'm the same way...i've tripped an 8th once and didnt like it...it was extremely enlightening looking back on it but at the time my mind couldn't take it...my perfect trip is about 1.5-2 grams depending on potency...sometimes as low at 1.2

i understand your querries about it not being natural, I was the same way...i've done acid once, I took two hits of liquid (i didn't trust paper tabs)..and i only did it because my friend did it first and said it was good (this is a friend I really trusted too, I've known him as far back as my memory permits)...but yea i was scared as shit that it was going to be unpure and mess my head up.....so my advice to you, especially if you enjoy opening your mind, is to take acid only when you are beyond all measure of doubt that it is pure and it won't physically mess you up - other then that I would say, knowing you have tripped shrooms, that your mind is completely ready for acid...though still, it is your choice to make and if you choose not to that's perfectly fine too, I am no one to tell you what to do

in my experience, 2 grams of good shrooms is much stronger than the two hits of liquid i had

  12. If it's paper, it's pretty much got to be acid. Nothing else would fit.

  13. yea but you don't know whose hands it went through, if any got rubbed off etc...there's a greater chance of tabs being less pure than liquid (so i'm told, but it makes sense since your skin absorbs it)

  14. Not less pure... less concentrated. :)

  15. got me;)

edit: actually i guess you could consider the tab itself less pure as a form of taking acid, compared to liquid

    but maybe not

  16. Interesting. My wife and I are doing the same, slowly questioning and weaning the falsehoods instilled early on. It has been a good thing.
As far as the LSD thing, did that once when I was 17. I actually tripped before I smoked pot. Dude told me, do half a dot. I did the whole thing. For me, it didn't work out...but I would never discredit or invalidate the benefits some receive. It is wise to treat this stuff with respect. You're sailing in uncharted territory, and the ocean of the mind can be a scarry place.

  17. I'm too lazy to see if anyone else in the thread suggested this but I know the OP will read. I suggest trying meditation. Clear your mind, try to feel the vibrations, don't allow any inner thought, just observe. Good luck!

  18. yes yes yes yes yes, someone mentioned it and YES. I tried it a couple nights ago and I dont even think I did it right but all the anger, frustrating(i have alot of that, im sure we all do) went out the window. It felt wonderful but when I get time im going to get some books on meditation. Maybe I can find a way to comunicate with god through meditation. or maybe I can learn how to pray right through meditation. I believe in a loving god, and I believe he wants us to communicate with him but the type of prayer im used to just plain doesnt work.:confused_2:

Remember people(or dont this is more a reminder to myself :)) Do unto others keep a clear conscious and I'll see you in heaven! its that simple. I dont die :yay: ahhhhh smell that? yup, its life :) smells good dont it? see that? its beautiful, looks amazing dont it? I love you all as humans.

    (note to self: dont judge)

haters shall be with us always, love thy haters ;)

  19. I think its possible to only do this on the surface. Preconceived notions are extremly hard to simply denounce, even though you think you can escape them they hide in the subconcious. After years of thought and study one can finally change their thought patterns and total outlook. This is what ive atleast found true for myself. I tried doing the same thing the OP described, but after a week or two, it was life back to normal.

  20. I agree about preconceived notions. Perhaps things that were taught during our "learning years." (?)
What do you think...do these changes originate from the head or the heart? :)
