That's ridiculous! Of course they are targeting consumers, you don't put anyone at risk if you're driving a week after smoking but it would still show up. The norwegian police would get this asap. Bitches they are. “I don't think there is any contradiction between the use of the narkometer and the pilot programme to legalise cannabis,†Jensen said.. ..of course not, not at aaaall
Eventually this sort of thing is going to start biting them in the ass. They're going to find out just how many people in this world partake in one substance or another and they're going to shit bricks when there's no one left to maintain anything, fix anything or clean up any of their shit.
They were planning to introduce these meters in Norway as well, but after discovering that they produce inconclusive results under a certain degree they got ditched. I really hope they haven't figured out a way to get around it.
I heard this and I'm from Denmark... I'm just glad I don't live in Copenhagen which is where this will take most effect. And we are very liberated here (ever heard of Pusher Street?), but there's very little knowledge about the subject. Especially from the government , as you can see from this new machine lol retards... All forms of weed is referred to as hash here... (the market here consist mostly of hash) A guy recently opened the first Coffeeshop in the country, even with weed still being illegal - and haven't had any serious problems with the law... yet lol
I lived in Denmark for 9 years and have been back every summer for 5 years now, there's a relaxed attitude towards weed, even from the cops. I've seen cops in Christiania walk past people who were high as fuck on several occasions without giving any trouble - if you have a few grams on you and they're for personal use, cops won't hassle you in my experience. It's illegal, yes, but you can walk right into Christiania (part of Copenhagen) and buy it in little stalls, almost as if it were legal. If the police were really intent on fighting marijuana, they'd have patrols hovering around Staden all the time, but they don't. I wanted to be a cop until I was about 16-17 years old, I talked to a lot of Danish police and made some friends there, I've asked them about weed since and they've all said that they know it's harmless and try not to go after common users. Don't be too discouraged by this. The Danes are the worlds coolest, happiest people and this should not dissuade you from going to Christiania and toking up. Edit: I WISH it was as easy to get such good weed in Norway. Fuck this secondhand hash.
yeah this come out of nowhere, as people above me have said the laws in Denmark regarding weed are pretty relaxed. i've never been in trouble because of weed. and now the government comes up with this bullshit. i'm just glad i don't drive so i wont have to worry about it.
