Im getting discouraged.

    Hello all, can u tell me whats wrong with plants. Turning lighter green all the time. Just ended second week of flowering was only vegged 3 weeks. Ph 7. Sprayed the plants with epsom salt h2o yesterday cause too early to water except for gigantes, shes the autoflower and she can be h2ord any time. Thot foliar spray would help for too high ph?. All have had 2 rounds of 15-30-15 nutes. The color change began with the little lsd plant a while ago before the flowering nutes. Before the flower stage had no nutes. Temp 78. Soil mixture perlite and super soil. First pic is ww 5 weeks old. Shes just recently began to discolor or lighten up. Other pics are acapulco gold and lsd, they get lighter all the time. Last pic is gigantes and her colors been staying stable but i mite possibly see a lighter color comming on. Using 150w hps. 12/12. Its 8 inches away. What do you think?

    What kind of soil are you using? What is the soil PH at. what is the water ph/ Nute type etc. Need to post more info.

    Just checked h2o and its 7.8 so pretty high. Can i mix epsom salt in some h2o to get soil down even though soil itself when wet reads 7. Soil is supersoil and perlite and nutes is mg bloom but i did only 1/4 strength.

    You can go on the cheap side and still get a good grow. I sugest getting away from the MG and getting some real soil.

    Here is a cheap way of doing it with great results.

    1.) Get some roots organics potting soil. $20 a bag.
    2.) Mix some dolomite lime in. 1-2 table spoons per gallon to up ph to 6.5.
    3.) Buy a 1.5lb tub of jacks bloom booster 10-30-20 $10
    4.) Pre fertilized soil will last 4-6 weeks
    5.) after that you are in flower and can start using jacks at 1/2 teaspoon per gallon raising it by 1/4 tsp weekly till you are at 1 tsp per gallon.

    Total cost for soil and nutes $30. Results excellent. Yes its really that simple.

    I'm a newbie, but aren't those leaves dying back due to flowering? This is my ill-informed guess

    give it some nutes with nitrogen

    I'd be inclined to just up ur nutes strength, my plants on my last grow took the nutes at full strength (canna) and were fine, but yea it does look like a slight n def
