  1. i put two paper towels wet with the seed beetwen them into two paper plates turned on eachother

how long should it be for i look for a sprout?

i dont wanna be waiting all month lol

and should i air it out every once in a while

its also not too warm in my room maybe 74-73 is this fine?

  2. We|come, make sure you read up, there is a germination sticky in this thread that will give you more details however:

Yes, that temperature is ok, might want it a little warmer if you can.
No, do not let it dry out, keep the towels damp, but not so wet that they collect pools of water.
You should wait anywhere from 24hours to 7 days, check em twice a day.

  3. Give it a week at the most, but 3 -4 days it normal. Check it every 12 - 24 hours to see if the white taproot has come out. Also, make sure you put it in a dark place, and if the paper towel starts to dry before it germs then mist the paper towel with warm water. 80 degrees is the best, but it will still germinate in the 70's.
I personally prefer just germinating straight in the soil because it's easier and I always have close to 100% of the seeds germinate. To germinate in the soil, wet the soil first, poke a hole about half inch down, put the seed in and cover it with dirt. You can also cover the container with plastic to keep the humidity in until the seedling breaks dirt.

  4. I just toss mine in a cup of water. It hasnt taken more than 48 hrs for the seed to crack, and Ive only had 1 seed NOT germinate.
