I'm at a potential life crossroads

  1. I'm in college, it's my second year.
It's not necessarily that I can't bring myself to do something... It's just that I genuinely don't see the point.
I have a job. Granted it has low respect in society cause it involves making food quickly

I'm just thinking I'd be just as happy in life even if I dropped out of college. However, I expect that SOME form of a job will come to me along the path of my life but really, working at taco bell ain't terrible shit anyways. it makes me money. Which is all I really need anyway am I right? haha kidding.

But still. I don't care for new things and success is a very loose term in my mind. Thoughts?

  2. I didn't go to school for a year and all I did was a bunch of drugs and work... it was fun as shit but I'm definitely glad I got back to it

  3. In your mind, I think it's a bit too loose a term.

  4. Work sucks, school sucks

  5. I define success as being safe, healthy, and happy.

The means to all those things is not a hard thing to accomplish. At least in this country where everything is handed to us...

  6. you should probably at least finish college and get some sort of degree, that way there are a few more doors open for you. that way you can afford to live nicely and afford to smoke the dankest dank at all times

  7. I said the same thing......now here I am a few years later and I regret it alot even though I do pretty good financially. College isnt hard and its fun as fuck. You might as well enjoy yourself while improving your quality of life later on, even if you dont use the degree you will feel like you accomplished something

  8. Amount of rich people, not too many (figuratively)

Amount of College Graduates, a fucking LOT

Not much of a trend there huh?

  9. Amount of rich people without degrees, not too many

Amount of poor people without degrees, a fucking LOT

While college won't guarantee you success, it opens the door for more opportunities, namely networking (meeting people).

Trust me, stay in school, you will regret it later.

  10. Finish school, and then stay at taco bell if you still want. At least then you'll have some sort of choice. :smoke:

  11. finish college, i know i would regret it.

  12. QFT. +rep

  13. get a business admin degree go back and open your own taco bells and let them bitches work the grill. Take care of your credit and you could def get some kind of bankroll going for that.

    just my 2cent

  14. Stay in school. I understand that it may not seem like the best option. In the short term, it's not. But long term, it definitely is. Networking, making friends, having fun, meeting girls, and getting an education are all great. College isn't too difficult and it's the time of most people's lives.

If you're fine with working at Taco Bell your entire life, then don't listen to me. But I think you'll regret it and you'll open a lot of doors for yourself by finishing!

And remember to have fun! Good luck man.

  15. No man i agree completely, im just saying the idea that college = success is one of the false american dream ideals hahahaha. You are raised to believe that college is some key point in doing what you want, when really its more like a stepping stone on the path, but there is a WHOLE lot more to it hahahaha, you know?

  16. It sucks right, we're born into this life but none of us really have a choice. I think everyone on the forum has questioned the point of school and work, but college does help in the long run.

I, just like anyone else, would love to have Jay-Z money and just lay back and smoke dank all day but we're all trapped in the same way.

  17. I understand lol, but not receiving a degree certainly won't help you any more than having one.

  18. Success depends on the person, if you want to be successful you will become so via which ever means you need to do it by. A got a lot of shit when I told everybody I wasn't gonna go to college yet I was gonna work and save money. But now I make significantly more than most the people I know and I barely graduated.

  19. hahah yea definitely. In the modern world, we have loopholes to avoid them, but you have to get licenses, or certifications in pretty much any job market to advance anywhere hahaha. I for one havent begun college and im 21, but im getting my real estate license, so im still in school, just not college hahahahahha

  20. Yeah I understand that I would regret it. That's why from now on I'm buckling down and not smoking weed alot even though I just got a new bong last week :devious: Oh how I love it.
