okay, im seriously just getting more pissed than i have ever been. i fucking hate online algebra. does anyone know how to do this shit???
OK... this is the only answer to your homework that I am going to give you..... Square each side: c^2 = 8/(pa) Multiply each side by p: pc^2 = 8/a divide each side by c squared p = 8/ac^2 Math bitches.
thanks a ton man! this is pissing me off to no ends lol. i should not have procrastinated on this math work
yeah i realized it was pretty easy after i posted it. i think im having some type of anxiety because my brain just will not function for math right now without just getting really angry. even if its easy.
Just curious.... Been a while since I've been to high school or college for that matter... When I went HS algebra was jr year and pre calculus was senior year. Freshman year of college I started calculus. Do they still teach calc in high school now a days? EDIT: Have a BS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering so I was sort of science focused even when in high school.

I started prealgebra in college. in high school I worked up to intermediate algebra I think. I went to college several years later scored poorly on placement test (too old for the act) Im in calculus, majoring in chemical engineering. Doesnt matter where you start, matters where you end up
What the sh*t..... I was never good at algebra but somehow I got through calc 1 with a B and I never want to look back on that!
Different maths for different brains. I did algebra/trig end of high school, calculus I and II in first years of college, tried doing advanced stats shit trying to get my BS degree, but had more trouble with advanced stats compared to everything else.
Seeing the root sign used to freak me out, just got to remember to take the root out and it won't look as bad
I hate algebra, especially with radicals and fractions though. However I was able to do alot of my gf's precal and a-b cal in my head, so don't worry the higher you progress it doesn't always get harder
He's right I took Pr-calculus my freshmen year then actual Calculus the next semester and was like Calculus is way easier than Pre-Calc wtf is this.
Haha I really think the same thing. in precalc we were using newtons cooling law lol in my calculus book, its all the way in the end of the book.
it *should* get easier. since they tend to teach the fundementals first, so when you move onto "harder" stuff, the basics is already imprinted on your brain and you find it easier solve the problems. although there will be hard bits.....i still struggle with partial fractions! (in fact, i just hate fractions in general, my brain does not process them right....thank fuck we work in mm in the uk and not inches!)
Agreed. Algebra and trig were good, loved calculus honestly, linear algebra was OK, differential equations was decent...but then I got into abstract algebra and real analysis and my brain exploded. My math career ended immediately after those two classes and I settled with the minor. Thank goodness for chemistry and biochemistry!
