So as im a beginner i have no idea but this fantasizes me so much i want to try some of my own The only trouble im having so far is where im going to grow. I want to keep it in my room and only grow 1 or 2 plants to start off with but i want something big enough for at least 6 or more. I was thinking maybe an old 2nd hand white cabinet, a grow tent as found on ebay or just make one up myself out of plywood and maybe pvc or some other wood. Any idea would be great. I do have a man hole right above me in my roof too for possible ventilation. Thanks
Yo man, you definitely seem to be on the right track... If you're looking to modify a dresser or wardrobe I'd get it off kijiji or something... If you get it new it might just be cheaper to make one out of wood. Have you done any research about the growing process yet?
Im in Australia dude so we dont have kijiji over here haha. Plenty of 2nd hand wardrobes etc on ebay for like 20 bucks etc might check my local op shop too. The only thing im worried about in a wardrobe build is light escaping, covering the inside with white plastic would be the go? Yea i have done a fair bit over the last week, watched a few videos read up on a lot of how to guides plus i have a mate that will help me out so im pretty confident i can at least attempt this! haha
i guess i just assumed haha but $20 is cheaper then what i usually saw, so if it looks like the space is decent i'd say go for it. i just started my first grow in a 34" H x 32" W x 24" D space, with three plants. It's probably bigger than what i actually need, but i figured i might as well have some wiggle room. To be honest i havent even dealt with light proofing my space at all... I'll be vegging them for a while and i'm doing it 24/0 , meaning the lights are always on soi never have to worry about light leaks haha I'm actually going to go get some more materials to finalize my setup soon (my ventilation needs some work too), i just have to finish designing it... I do have mylar up, but i've heard that a nice white plastic or even paint is just as good if not better... Anyways i've rambled on long enough, and my chicken fingers are done so i'll talk to you later man.
cant go wrong with a small grow tent...they are outfitted with everything geared toward indoor growing...so this would be your best option that you stated from your ideas.
