    Ok, well in the past few months ive heard so many different rumours about bud being banned or coffee shops closing in amsterdam and only local NL passport holders can use etc..

    someone give me the factual lowdown please.

    ya i think it was about a year ago when i read an article on the subject.

    it apparently got completely out of hand, to the point where anyone could buy anything legally. (well seemingly)

    so they started to crack down and close shops near schools and whatnot. i didnt think they werent letting foreigners in on the action. if thats true im pissed.

    but my understanding is that they were just trying to make things better, not stop the ganja smoking.

    Yeah i remember that article too fireman...but all they did was close some shops within a 5 mile radious of school and some other shit...just trying to make it safe and shit for people not outlawing it
