A friend of mine just went through a germination fest with a bunch of bank seeds and a generous amount of bag seeds. Well flash forward a couple of days there was a container that had ten seeds in and four had sprouted. These seeds are most likely some very good ones. I have now placed them in rockwool cubes and have them under a 40w cfl. As I understand it my friends have not tried to sprout in the cubes. This is my first project and everything I'm doing so far is quite experimental to me. This should be neat and I would like to share the experience with everyone. first of all 40 watts isnt enoph.. for one plants youd prob need a minimum of 100 watts for one plant 6500k for the spectrum..
