Hey blades. I'm purchasing a used iolite portable vape from my friend for $100 and he leant it to me to try out on the weekend. I really enjoyed it and found it to be quite an upgrade from my mflb. However, starting it up with the igniter switch can be finicky at best. I'm curious how many clicks it usually takes for you guys to get your iolites fired up and is $100 a decent deal?
OK here's the thing, you have to let the butane flow for at least 30 seconds or so before you try to ignite the iolite. And yeah $100 is a good price

No, not after filling, when you turn it on - you need to let the butane flow through the device for a little while. I notice that if I leave mine on (and it's brand new as of May) for 30-60 seconds before I try to ignite it, it will catch on the first or second button push. If I try any sooner than that it takes a while.
I can second what he said. I don't personally own an iolite, but one of my buddies has one and he does the same thing.
Just fired it up much quicker than normal using the 30 seconds to let the butane flow. Getting huge clouds off this thing and loving it
I found if I warmed it iolite up a bit, it would lite up faster. So it was either on top of my comp, or under my arm pit(always wore a shirt)... usually 5min later i was enjoying a session
