if youre good with photoshop read this

it wouldnt be very hard at all. all it is for the background is a color halftone effect, with a multicolor gradient laid on top of it, and then 3d text effects with layering are on top

id say 2 hours tops

 

Are you completely new to Photoshop, or already somewhat experienced and just curious about how to make that specific look?

I only ask because if you're completely new to PS, giving you a step by step break down of exactly how to do that would be quite time consuming and probably hard to convey over simple text. If you're looking to learn, a good place to start is looking up some tutorials.

 

Well if you already know about photoshop then try gradients, with a 3d text (many tutorials on the net for these) if you don't know much about photoshop you need to learn alot more about it before you start going for that.

 

It actually should be very easy to quickly emulate this photo, although to be honest, it's flawed by it's own principles of lighting. There would be better ways to go about doing it, but anyhow, thumb through some tutorials on filters, layering, opacity and free transform for purposses of perspective.

Knowing all those basics, you could remake this play bill awfully quick.

Go to the text effects part and look for a style of 3D text you'd like to learn, and that'll help you on your way there. There's tons of tutorials on that site, and each new one you do can teach you new things about Photoshop.
Hell, I've been using PS for nearly 5 years now, and I still manage to figure out new things.
