Hey blades, havent been on here for a few weeks, but I need some advice!

So I have been workin on the family farm for probably 2 years now. Started since I got out of highschool (im 19 now) with the intentions of running it myself in a few years. Anyways long story short I am finding out its not really my thing.. And im also getting sick and tired of working with my family (they are very traditional and im pretty much the exact opposite, you can see how this might be a problem). I love farming, its just becoming more stress then I want/need.

So I have been talking with my grandpa who lives in florida (im currently in wisco), and it just so happens he lives really close to a tech school. I was thinking about living with him, and going to school. I have been looking into the auto program they have. I dont think I will ever work in a auto garage, but I LOVE working on cars, and would love to at least have the expierence and know how.

I was thinking if I sold the more expensive stuff I own (my two trucks, skid steer, and a few other things) I could probably come up with around $30,000 to basically start my life over with.. I would probably set 10 aside for school and tools, and spend some of the 20 on a nice vehicle, and save the rest until I find a job.. Which I have never had a problem finding one, I have been working since 14 and have a wide range of expierences.

    So blades, my question is...

If you had $30,000 to start your life over with, what would you use it on? School? A House? Pot??? Also give me advice with what I should do!

  2. Yeah i totally get you on working with family
Idk how some families do it but i cant stand working with my family.

I would use 15,000 for school

And the other 15 for a car but id get a cheaper car maybe save like 5-6k for other things and live off those 5-6 unt you find a job

Idk i can be so wrong but its jjst whats coming to my head

  3. id move to colorado, get my medical card and support badge and try to get a job at a dispensary.

if you love weed florida is a pretty bad place to live, the weed laws here are super strict (anything over 20g is a felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison and a $5000 fine, anything less is punishable by up to a year and a $1000 fine) but we do have pretty good weed. its also hot as fuck here most of the year and the humidity is hell. with 30k you'd be better off moving to a medical state and getting a job and going to school. oh and if you dont like traditional values you will hate it here, florida is one of the most conservative states in the country (see weed laws) and the governor has ties to big pharma so dont expect any changes.

  4. I'd do it all over again with an extra $30,000.

  5. Kegels at age 9 :D

    So I could bust a shinkuu-sploogouken

  6. Florida sucks IMO, I spent a few months there when I was in the Navy and it was just full of rednecks and cops, there are things to do, but everything is so touristy.

I just moved to Colorado, and had my mmj card and MMJ employee badge within a few weeks and started working as a grower for a dispensary a month later. If you like farming and weed then growing for a dispensary is the perfect job. The best part is that it is indoors farming, so you don't have to stand out in the sun all day, oh and you're around weed plants all day long.

damn, ye thats strict, here in sweden if you get busted with weed you just have to pay a fine around 380 dollar (still sux), and thats it. I think under 20g is a minor drug offence.
I couldn't imagine smoking weed were you live, the risk of getting jailed for smoking some bud isn't worth it. I would get the hell out of there asap and move to another state.

  8. well im 20 and going to school currently if i had $30,000 id move probly back to cally and get a house or apartment with my cousin or some friends ive got down there.. transfer to a school down there, and pretty much live off that $30,000 for a couple years.. also start growing again and make some money supplying dispensaries

  9. Save more when I was young, start a business earlier in life, not go to college and amass debt. 'Bout it, really, my life has been pretty kick-ass to this point.
