If weed was legal

    If weed had never became ilegal, considering it became ilegal when it was gaining popularity (why would they ilegalize something that is not popular?), would it be by now more popular than alcohol?

    What do you think?

    Many reasons.
    Yes, one was because of the pressure alcohol vendors applied to the government.
    But still, I think alcohol has what it needs to have top popularity.

    The alcohol industry had little, if anything, to do with it. Hell the alcohol industry was the Mafia

    Im guessing weed would have stayed on the backburner of society. People wanted hemp, not the buds.
